RCRA & DOT HAZMAT (CUPA / CERS) FULLERTON
Training class is about managing and transporting hazardous waste in California.
There are 2 types of hazardous waste in California: (1) RCRA -Federal; (2) Non RCRA - California. The Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) requires companies that generate hazardous waste to submit documentation via the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). Employees responsible for hazardous waste are required to have some level of training. This class will cover training topics required to manage hazardous waste on site and also includes DOT regulations for employees who will be siging the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. (This class does not cover tiered permiting, underground storage tanks and is not a training class on how to complete CERS documents)
